Scouting in Madison Heights since 1961: Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 1589

Try Cub Scouts *Free* with a 2025 Trial Membership

Want to see what Cub Scouting is all about before committing to a full year?
Or looking for ways to help offset the membership fee? We’ve got you covered!

The 2025 annual membership fee is $170. For some families—especially with multiple Scouts—that can be a big commitment. Our Trial Membership lets your family experience the fun of Cub Scouts now, with options to reduce or eliminate that cost.

How the Trail Membership works:

Step 1 – Request a Trial Membership
Once you know which Cub Scout Pack you’d like to join, fill out the form at MCC Trial Membership to request your Trial Membership.

Step 2 – Get Your Coupon Code
You’ll receive an email with a coupon code to use during the Youth Application process.

Step 3 – Apply Online
Complete the online Youth Application and enter your coupon code.

  • Note: The coupon does not cover the optional Scout Life subscription. If you’d like that, it’s an additional $15.

Step 4 – Jump into the Fun
Enjoy Cub Scouts through December 1, 2025!

To continue beyond that date, you’ll be asked to sell popcorn to help cover any remaining balance of the $170 membership fee. To read all the fine print, please visit MCC Trial Membership. Watch your email for details about the Trails End popcorn sale.
